About Human Resources, Development & Administration

The Directorate of Human Resources Management and Administration is one of the eleven Directorates in the Local Council that provides the necessary linkages and support services to the line Directorates and other stakeholders, ensuring the implementation of the Council's plans and programs.

Core Functions

    1. Manage and maintain employee personnel records
    2. Support recruitment and hiring activities
    3. Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding logistics
    4. Organize and schedule training and development events
    5. Handle and resolve employee inquiries
    6. Create and prepare HR documents and communication materials
    7. Maintain accurate employee data for compliance and reporting
    8. Assist with the administration of performance management
    1. Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances
    2. Provide guidance and support for both employees and managers on company policies
    3. Coordinate employee recognition programs and engagement activities
    4. Manage exit interviews and offboarding procedures
    5. Oversee and administer employee surveys to measure satisfaction and engagement
    6. Develop and update the employee handbook
    7. Provide counseling and support on work-related issues
    8. Ensure a fair and consistent disciplinary process
